We’re going to kick-off 2019 with a very special guest: Beverley C MBE (formerly Beverley Cobella). She’s one of the UK’s most prolific female hairdressers, where she was both the first female hairdresser to win British Hairdresser of the Year and receive the honour of a MBE at Buckingham Palace by the Queen.

She’s been a big inspiration to so many hairdressers over the last 28 years, and who continues to this day to inspire and excite hairdressers on a global level. I asked Beverly on the show today, not just to hear about her incredibly successful career in the hair industry, but to understand more about her as a person, and how she’s looking to the future of mentoring and educating a new generation of hairdressers. Plus we’re going to learn about Beverly recently re-joining her company Cobella and is working closely with her daughter (and former guest of the show) Jordanna Cobella to expand the company to new heights.

Beverly has collated numerous awards for her inspirational work on a global level for – Shows – Seminars – Photographic work – TV work, and her exceptional skills in Education.  As a highly reputable and most respected figure in the industry, her flair for the most eloquent and professional education is widely recognized.  Beverly’s moto of “ Knowledge is a gift – a gift that should be shared” shines through her effortless flair for teaching, inspiring, and raising standards.

Besides inspirational and humorous tales of Beverley’s wonderful career in hairdressing, this episode is a rare insight into a hairdressing icon, where we go deep into how she’s navigated through big changes in her life, and one that will give you a real understanding on what it takes to get to the top of the ladder in the hairdressing industry – something that many of you may aspire to!

I’m so honoured that Beverly could join us for the first episode of 2019! Let us know what you thought of the show or what most inspired you from this interview —ping us on Instagram @HowToCutIt and @BeverlyC_Hair.
